STATIONHEAD INFO

To stream on Stationhead, connect a Spotify Premium account or Apple Music subscription.

Stationhead is a great platform because you can join a “station” and it takes the work out of finding or creating a playlist (each playback on a station counts as a stream).

A great station to join is STAYonAIR. We also recommend taking a look at their website, as it has a lot of other great tips for streaming generally.

SPOTIFY PLAYLIST INFO

If you do not have Stationhead and would like to create your own playlist on Spotify, here are a couple tips to make sure your streams count for Billboard and awards:

  • Avoid looping a song - Repeating a song too often can lead to your streams being removed and deemed fraudulent.

  • Mix it up - Using other artists and genres in your playlist (STAYonAIR recommends every 10-12 songs) makes your streams look more legitimate and they are less likely to be removed.

  • Do NOT use autoplay - Leave autoplay off.

  • Interact with Spotify - Like songs, add them to your library or another playlist, share to social media, or skip a song. Engaging with Spotify helps your streams be seen as legitimate.
